It’s been quite awhile since I have made a post, probably because I have been waiting for some big news or something to happen to announce. I decided that I am going to post more often, and include different things that pertain to everyday life and not just direct Compassion type business. So for my first post back I wanted to make it a tribute to one of my good friends Justyn Moro.
Justyn has been a big supporter of Compassion Clothing since we met at church about a year or so ago. He helped out by being in our 3 year anniversary photo shoot. He even had an idea for a Compassion Christmas commercial that he stayed true to his word by shooting and editing for us this past Christmas. I have also had the pleasure of joining him on multiple music video shoots as he continues to run after his dreams in the film industry. Today, Justyn took his dreams to the next level by leaving Orlando, FL for LA. Though I am loosing a great friend and my main contact for film related questions and projects I am proud that he will be taking Compassion Clothing with him to Hollywood. I could be mistaken, but I think he might be the first person out in Cali with a Compassion shirt. I’m pulling for him and his career and hopefully I can scrap some cash together to get out to see him on the west coast real soon.
Thanks Justyn for all of your help. Keep Compassion (not just the clothing) as a huge part of your life and career!
On April 23rd, I Am Compassion, made possible by Murray Hill Theatre, will be hosting the first ever “Compassion Collective.” This will be an amazing event showcasing all of the different parts that make up I Am Compassion and Compassion Clothing. First of all, our sponsored bands will be featured, playing on one stage together for the first time. There will also be appearances by members of different organizations we partner with as well as a place to learn and donate to all of them.
We want to make the first Compassion Collective one to remember and we hope that you would not miss the extraordinary night. Again, it will be hosted in Jacksonville, FL at the renown Murray Hill Theatre. The night will get started with Campbell at 7:30, who is driving all the way from Charlotte, NC to play for the crowd. The $10 ticket price is nothing compared to the change the proceeds will make in the world around us.
Tickets will be available for pre-sale for the price of $10. The difference is, only those that buy a pre-sale ticket will be entered into a drawing to win The Compassion Collective Prize Package (contents TBA but will be amazing). Please contact us at info@iamcompassion.org or any of our amazing bands to learn how you can buy tickets pre-sale.
This night really can’t happen without you there to witness it, so please make sure you clear you calendars for Friday night, April 23rd. We promise you wont be disappointed and your patient waiting will be rewarded.

The latest issue of Alternative Press featured a great layout of an advertisement submitted by sponsored band The Icarus Account. What makes The Icarus Account great (other than their music), is that they are willing to take part in every aspect of what Compassion Clothing does including taking promo shots in our apparel. What then occurs is Compassion Clothing on their Myspace, Website, and throughout their album artwork. In this case they took out a full page ad in a well known magazine giving Compassion some awesome exposure as well. We greatly appreciate their commitment to our cause, so please take this time to check out their music if you have yet to hear it! THE ICARUS ACCOUNT.

The Perfection Series is a very important line of shirts for Compassion Clothing. Each shirt in the series illustrates a scripture directly talking about God’s PERFECT compassion. The best part is, each shirt also works with an organization who’s story is also told as we raise money for their cause.
For the 3rd shirt of the series, we are proud to announce that it is working with Child Hope who has an orphanage in Haiti along with an amazing story. Like everyone else in Haiti, Child Hope has been impacted by the recent earthquake. Through Compassion Clothing’s latest shirt “By Day and Night,” we hope to help fund their vision to be a light in the literal darkness of Haiti. Please read the story of Child Hope and check out “By Day and Night” which enables you to be compassion to those in Haiti!

The rumors are true. Compassion Clothing is once again accepting credit card purchases online. This was available back in 2009, but after trying out a PayPal only online storefront, it seemed that our customers needed an upgrade. So to finalize our “Twenty-Ten” sale we launched a brand new online store front with a brand new shirt (which you can read about in the post above this).
Not a whole lot has changed, but we hope that offering various payment options will help our customers clothe themselves in COMPASSION more easily than ever before. The new storefront also can be used when buying a shirt at an event with a credit card, which benefits all you people out there (like myself) that don’t carry very much cash.
We hope you like what we’ve done and the constant improvements we are making to keep you coming back!
